Bell Sleeve Top

Hi Lovelies. Oh Monday, I was not ready for you.  We took a quick trip to Houston this weekend and it wore me out.  I love to travel, but sometimes these there and back trips really take a toll on my body.  Today, I am excited to feature Gray Monroe with this super cute bell sleeve top.  Gray Monroe is an online boutique that carries a variety of clothes for the every day woman.  The owner, Jenny has put together so many cute items and I love that I can support another mom in her pursuit of her dreams.

I wore this outfit for my husband’s companies event for Camp Hope.  Which if you don’t know about Camp Hope you should check it out.  I can’t believe what they are doing to help our soldiers with PTSD.  They offer local support groups, and housing for those who are in need.  They are making a difference in the lives of men who fight for our freedom.  You can’t get much better than that.

We had a great time in Houston.  We checked out their big mall, Bayou Bend Gardens, The Johnson Space Center, and Kemah.  I was a little shocked out how small Houston feels.  After searching and searching for things to do, we didn’t come up with much.  There are only a few historical sites to visit and landmarks that are unique to Houston.

We absolutely loved the Space Center and touring the Independence space shuttle.  It is definitely a great place in Houston.  I am still in awe that we are even able to travel into outer space.  Not to mention, the technology that they develop to explore the moon and the other planets in our solar system. They even are developing a robot named Valkyrie that can turn pages in a book and do all sorts of crazy stuff!  This is something worth checking out if you are in the Houston area.

One of my favorite spots on our European adventure One of my favorite spots on our European adventure was all of the beautiful churches. Stunning architecture, lots of discussions about religion and the differences between them all. It was so much fun to talk, to share with the girls and I hope they have a new respect for cultural and religious differences. In the end we are all humans, living on this earth, to grow, learn and love.

Here is a little travel tip: One way that we save money on travel is easy breakfasts. We keep food in our hotel, fresh fruit and baked goods. We grab a coffee every once in awhile, but it’s always something like this. Quick, easy and affordable.
