Creative At Home Date Night Ideas

Hi Lovelies. Today, I am on my way to NYC for fashion week. As always, for the next few days, I will fall off social media as I soak up all of the fun and excitement of Fashion and NYC. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, and a month focused on love, I thought I would share ten creative at home date night ideas. With two girls, sometimes it’s hard to get a part-time sitter with a schedule that works for us all the time. But, we are blessed that our girls go to sleep early. Bed time in our house is between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. So, the hubs and I have plenty of time together.  We can always put together a great night.

10 CREATIVE AT HOME DATE NIGHT IDEAS

10 creative at home date night ideas by popular Los Angeles lifestyle blogger The Fashionista Momma

Paint Night – Setup your own sip and paint.  Pick a painting and setup two paint stations.  Sip, paint and laugh together.

Fondue Night – You can pick up a fondue set from Amazon or you can make it in a small crockpot.  Set yourself up with cheese fondue, some yummy vegetables, and bread.  Put on a great movie and chill.  It’s the fancy version of Netflix and chill.

Movies in the Yard – I know most people don’t have a projector, but you can pick one up from Amazon for pretty cheap.  This is a great thing to have for lots of family fun.  You can do movies in the yard with the neighbors, you can make fun little cars out of cardboard boxes and have a drive in with your kids.  Definitely worth the investment.  Anyway, back to the date night.  Pick a romantic movie, setup an air mattress, grab some snacks and enjoy a movie under the stars on the side of your house.

Pizza Night – Go for make-your-own pizzas.  Make the dough and spend quality time together tossing your pizza crusts and then making totally yummy personal pizzas.

Casino Night – Pick up a poker set.  Have drinks, play black jack.  I’m a roulette person and we even have a little roulette setup.  So, roulette will come out every now and then.  You can check out the set I have here.

Spa Night – Swap massages, take a bath, and enjoy a glass of wine.  Ladies, you can even add a facial while you soak.

Beer Tasting/Wine Tasting – This is two in one.  You could do beer tasting one night and wine tasting another night.  You could try a variety by country, or brews.  Such a fun organized night of drinking.

Game Night – Board games or video games work.   If you have Nintendo Wii you could even go bowling in the privacy of your own home.

Chopped – Each of you pick an ingredient and put together your basket.  Then get to the competition.  You can make an appetizer, main dish and dessert or just a dessert.  Race to the finish and then enjoy your hard work.

These are all fun a unique at home date night ideas to enjoy time with your husband.  How do you like to date your husband?  Do you guys go out or do date night in?

One of my favorite spots on our European adventure One of my favorite spots on our European adventure was all of the beautiful churches. Stunning architecture, lots of discussions about religion and the differences between them all. It was so much fun to talk, to share with the girls and I hope they have a new respect for cultural and religious differences. In the end we are all humans, living on this earth, to grow, learn and love.

Here is a little travel tip: One way that we save money on travel is easy breakfasts. We keep food in our hotel, fresh fruit and baked goods. We grab a coffee every once in awhile, but it’s always something like this. Quick, easy and affordable.
